The Middling Bat is a thin version of a standard cricket bat, when used with a standard sized cricket ball it increases the difficulty for the batsman.
It is called the Middling Bat because it forces the batsman to bat using a smaller hitting area, thus developing the batsman's ability to hit the ball with the middle of the bat when using a standard cricket bat
The Middling Cricket Bat is designed to improve batting accuracy, and develop hand/eye co-ordination.
As this is a Thin Cricket Bat, anything less than perfectly on the sweet spot will likely result in a duff shot or a nick through to the keeper, making it great for wicket keeper training at the same time.
